I haven't posted a picture of The Mountain lately. Since I moved in with Bob I don't see the mountain on a regular basis but she's out there. She doesn't always show herself though. Here elevation is 14,409ft (4392M). She is an active volcano and last erupted in 1894
Of course the Chickens have been laying for awhile but now we are enjoying some of the firsts from the garden. Pictured are Zucchini (sauteed or in stir fry with onions and tomatoes--oh I could go on) and eggs. we also have had Snow Peas, Strawberries and tons of Spinach (which I love).
Sedro-Woolley is a neat old town on the Skagit River. It is called 'upriver'. It is a logging town with farming and fishing rounding out the flavor of the town. There are many murals on the older brick buildings and many, many life-sized wood carvings. An interesting, must visit town. I am linking this to Monday Murals HERE
