Where's my Ma!!!

This little guy was trying to scramble over the roadside barrier and then get to the other side of the road and back up into the mountains----he finally did---right in front of our Jeep.

Chainsaw carvings seen at The Loggerodeo

The Chainsaw wood carving went on all week at the Loggerodeo.  Very noisy but fun to watch a trunk of a tree turn into a huge sculpture.  Some days they had contests to see what one could create in a certain time period.  These are just a smidgeon of the many creations shown at the show..

Loggerodeo, Sedro-Woolley, Washington

Sedro-Woolley is a logging town just a few miles from my house.  Every year they have a week long festival called Loggerodeo, different events all week long, including a 3K and a 5K footrace.  (I did the 3K last year).  Chain saw woodcarving going on all week and it all ends on the 4th of July weekend with a parade on Sunday and a two day rodeo.  Yeehaw!!!
