Mount Rainier

I haven't posted a picture of The Mountain lately.   Since I moved in with Bob I don't see the mountain on a regular basis but she's out there.  She doesn't always show herself though.  Here elevation is 14,409ft (4392M).  She is an active volcano and last erupted in 1894

    This is absolutely gorgeous! There's a serenity about the scene, even though it is an "active" volcano! I'm in the same boat - not active since 1894!
