Mount Rainier

I haven't posted a picture of The Mountain lately.   Since I moved in with Bob I don't see the mountain on a regular basis but she's out there.  She doesn't always show herself though.  Here elevation is 14,409ft (4392M).  She is an active volcano and last erupted in 1894

Of course the Chickens have been laying for awhile but now we are enjoying some of the firsts from the garden.  Pictured are Zucchini (sauteed or in stir fry with onions and tomatoes--oh I could go on) and eggs.  we also have had Snow Peas, Strawberries and tons of Spinach (which I love).

Eggs

We have one hen who insists on laying teeny tiny eggs.  Problem is we can't figure out which one.  Pretty eggs though.
No yolk in it---just white.  weird!

I have made..........

.............26 flower containers so far.  that includes several hanging baskets.  I like making containers mainly because you can move them around where ever you want.

These will fill out more and be gorgeous.   The Pansy one I will shear back and they will start all over again.
 Begonia, Bacopa and Coleus
 Pansies
 Geranium. Lobelia (Chrystal Palace) Allysum
This one is fairly new it should be huge.  Petunia, Bacopa, Santavalia and Heliotrope (in the middle)

Monday Mural

Sedro-Woolley is a neat old town on the Skagit River.  It is called 'upriver'.  It is a logging town with farming and fishing rounding out the flavor of the town.  There are many murals on the older brick buildings and many, many life-sized wood carvings.  An interesting, must visit town.

Horse fence for Good fences

Fences that keep our horses in.  Here is Kylee with Sadie and Jewel---all with hidden faces.  The gate goes into another pasture and up to the barn.

An image from the archives.  Bradley about 5 years ago and my best pony Bucky.  No he didn't buck at all. Now a 3 yr. old cutie owns him and she loves him too.

A lovely country fence for Good Fences

This is the road our house is on.  Our place is just across from this fence.  Our fence is similar.
What a great April sky too.
