Flowering Artichoke

We ate Artichokes and then let them flower.  Kinda pretty.

 Fresh caught in the Stillaguamish River (Stanwood) last Fall.  Season opens next month.
Very tasty.

Sunflowers

I planted a whole bunch of Sunflowers this Spring.  They are all different colors.  They are 8 to 10 ft. tall.  I like this one because it is so different.

Kylee went from a natural blonde to an unnatural brunette.  Whaddya think?

He is so cute.  The Nasturtium is going to overpower him.

Roger and her babies

Roger hatched out all her eggs and look who trundled down to the pond.  This is as close as I could get.  Kylee named the small fuzzy little duckling roger and she turned out to be a female but the name stuck.  We like it.  She is an Indian Runner Duck.

Sedro Woolley Town Center

Another Mural from Sedro Wooley.  This is their Town Center where lots of events go on.  Farmers Market, weekend music etc.  Right now there annual event the Loggerodeo is happening.  Good stuff!!
