Took this this morning.  Deer do love apples and and any apples on the ground during the day are gone by the next morning.  Good cleaner-uppers.

Orange seems to be the color in my garden this year.  These are a couple examples.  Here is an Orange Echinacea called Sombrero and a beautiful Heuchera called of all things Silver Heart----where did that name come from???

this mural is at Tulip Town in Mount Vernon open during the Tulip festival in April.  It shows the tulips in the fields and the canals in Holland which transport the tulips.

 This old barn is down a lonely back road almost to the River--(Pilchuck, I think)  Still in use too.  The house looked a lot like the barn.  This is the front side
