They're Back.......

Snow Geese in the Valley
The Snow Geese return to the Skagit and Stilly valley every Fall to winter over.  They come from Siberia and Northern Alaska.  They return to their breeding grounds up north in March or April.

    I used to think we never have snow geese here...but I was wrong. We never see them in such great numbers as you do, though.

  5. What a shot...and I can feel your excitement...it is how i feel when I go to the strip pits and see the short eared owls and the Northern Harriers.
