Guarding the nest

Took this picture yesterday.  There are several nests down along the Stillaguamish River in Stanwood.  The Eagles are out and about checking out nest and such.

    Looks grey and rainy here, too. I guess this is what they mean when "they" tell you to keep an "eagle eye."

    Do they use the same nest year after year?

    I finally saw and photographed my first bald eagle...but the photo is not good enough to post. :))
